Hello, hello!

So a while back I was looking through old files of my art and came across the Guardians of Averia characters that I made for a comic I ended up giving up on many years ago, and it felt like it was long past time I gave them a little love.

For those who may not know the Guardians of Averia was a comic I made about a group of magical girls trying to save the world, but with some darker themes as well (a little bit like Madoka Magicia)

So here is the first redesign, she was originally a mermaid but I decided it would just be more practical and easier for her to have legs like all the other do, but maybe when she's in a body of water she could turn her legs to a tail.

I also wanted to give her a really long ponytail in this form so mimic her old tail.

I've been wanting to try out a more softer shading style for a while and I think this really turn out nicely, I normally don't enjoy soft shading very much but it was actually a lot of fun and a nice (and overdue) update to my style.
