Description Prehistoric Tundra Ulie

Large by ulie standards, the tundra ulies are found mostly in colder habitats and are often first-in colonists on colder planets. Sheer strength and determination allowed them to survive the harsh winters of Apher's Northern pole and cold habitats. They are calm and collected and females tend to be the more dominant of their breed as many males take to, somewhat, solitary lives. Wandering the frozen plains following their birth troop, occasionally catching up to them to see how their siblings, mothers and aunts are faring. Or tentatively gaining the acceptance of an unrelated troop to find a mate.
Occasionally males will form small troops called bands, who will work together during hunting, or may just come together for companionship. Brothers and their father often form bands.
Female troops migrate to the temperate climates so their pregnant members can give birth.
Size: 5 ft average, males and females
Description: Muscular, stocky and very thick furred. Very strong and sure-footed they have very small ears so they do not lose heat from them and a thick, stumpy tail which can store fat in lean times. They have no bare back.
Pelt: Though tundras can be found in many colours similar to the temperate ulies, most have a majority of white or light grey on their pelts. White, different shades of grey, black and dark browns are their normal colours. Most tundras have spots.

Turned off mature warning because you really can't see anything. It's all hidden away. What you can see is more like a sheath.
