I always love it when the fairies are drawn looking inhuman, not just beautiful people with butterfly wings or pointy ears, but actually disquieting beings whose facial features are exaggerated in some strange manner. They aren't like us. They have different values, different beliefs. They are alien and thus so strange.

Wow, the contrast between the pale yellow and the teal is a new sight for me, and a welcomed one too. Wonderful colors to play with, especially in the dark context created by the characters and the background
