Description Here is the Bowie corset I made, from different angles. I also made the lightning bolt necklace I had been wanting to make a corset out of some Bowie pics for a while, and I finally got around to trying it. I printed the pictures on canvas that you can purchase at the fabric store, pieced the pictures together so they were the shape of the pieces for the pattern, and just sewed it together as normal. It's lined with dark red taffeta. The pattern is New Look 6480 - although I did have to modify it a bit and make it a little tighter.

Thanks! Yes, I printed it on canvas - there are sheets of fabric available to purchase at craft stores that are meant for that purpose, to print photos on - mostly they're meant for quilting, but I thought I'd give this a try

Thank you! Well the hardest part was actually just picking out photos to put in the corset But once I did I had to cut the pictures to be the shape of the pattern pieces, sew the pics together, and just sew the corset as I normally would with fabric.
