Description
So I was totally going to do a normal color job on this one, but when I couldn't get the line art quite as high-contrast as I wanted, I did the black blocking with a very dark gray, instead, which meant that when I threw the blues onto the layer below them, they kinda showed up through it, and THAT reminded me of the way the inks would layer in old comics, which inspired me to try the whole thing as old-school colors, including the never-properly-aligned reds.
