LxWedy for the Open-mind Pairing Challenge.
(No, this isn't the insanely-popular pairing I said would be next in my journal...this one just kind of popped up today and I drew it randomly while in the car. 
The popular one shall be next! LOL) I apologize, L, for giving you NO BUTT. I drew this while trying not to lean my hand onto the paper, because I was sweating so it would've smudged the pencil. =/Anyway. Yes. It was fun drawing Wedy's bathing suit.
L and Wedy are from the anime/manga Death Note, and belong to Tsugumi ohba and Takeshi Obata.

I really like this for your challenge, since it is pretty unique! 
(I might be being a weird person but is it the angle or is Wedy's left pinky really close in size to her ring finger? I think it's the angle playing tricks on me, but I wanted to ask anyway. Please forgive my horribly random observation!

XD LOL--thanks! I agree, this is an ideal OP Challenge pair--a pairing which barely ever gets any attention! They look nice together, they're an okay age for each other, and they even already know each other in the canon.

This is actually one of the pairings I'm really fond of, but never see very often. I don't know if L is Wedy's 'type', but she may have unique tastes...plus, he's a appealing on several levels.

Gahahahah! Prety OOC for L but I love it all the same. See, if I tried to draw in the car, (and I have)it comes out as a series of vaguely amusing but utterly unartistic squiggles. So I admire you on that front especially.

I have been having a Death Note moment and started watching it a second time, and I also randomly looked up the Spanish version (a. I need to practise my Spanish seeing as I'm supposed to be doing a GCSE in it next year and barely remember any and b. I suddenly sat up straight and said "Mello has a double l, i wonder if they say it "Meyo"??" and I had to find out.) and it turs out they don't say Meyo at all which was a big disappointment, BUT - and this huge rant IS leading somewhere (I think) - I watched one ep and Near's Spanish VA (who is very manly-sounding) said "Mey-lo" in this really CUUUUTE little voice yeah and it was adorable and I squeed so I thought you might like to know about that so you can hear cute little Near saying "Mey-lo."
