Description
Digital painting inspired by a photo belonging to ~schmoo15 depicting his cat, Schmoo. His photo won best-in-show in my 2013 animal photography contest and was used with permission as reference for this painting. His winning photo is posted here:A tutorial on how I paint fur is posted here .
I know a lot of digital artists don't like lens flare renders but while I respect their opinion, I'm also happy with the result here and can still sleep at night.

The way you've done the colours and lighting in this is gorgeous.
That flowy-ness and detail on the fur is amazing too!!
