Description Commission for Nebulis-Akaira of her OC from the Star Wars universe, Nebulis (a Chiss)

"Nebulis is a mysterious Dual Saber Master associated with both The Marran and Crystal Guard Orders. Much about Master Nebulis is a mystery even to herself. Attempts to dig into her past have yielded little to no results and any files that have been found are heavily encrypted or classified beyond most top clearance codes."

Thank you! It's weird painting eyes that don't have a pupil or iris (or a definitive gaze at all). I wasn't familiar with the Chiss species either until I started doing commissions of them. But I always notice them now when I see them since the blue skin is a bit hard to miss...

Indeed. It's interesting to see what species get requested with what frequency. This is only the second Chiss I've done.

Ahh, that eye contrast is absolutely sick She looks so badass- the colours bear in mind something like a poisonous insect or something, which seems fitting for her character!

Thanks! I hadn't thought of the poisonous insect concept before but I definitely see it now. A deadly thing- but also one that's beautiful enough that you're willing to risk interacting with it.

I like the eyes the most, the red/blue colour clash really has an impact.

Thanks! It's challenging to paint eyes that are all one color and don't have an iris or pupil like this. I ended up going about painting them the way I do gemstones which I think ended up working out in the end.
