    You collapsed to the hardwood as the buzzer sounded. You had done it. You were an NBA champion. After the absolute humiliation that occurred after the last game. After all the laughs and slander you heard from the talking heads on ESPN. After being completely counted out after being dominated by a petite woman in heels. You proved you yourself still had talent. Hell, you had completely dominated the other team of men. 43 points, triple double, 60% from the field, plus 3 blocks and 5 steals on the defensive end. You fought hard and earned back your pride.
    As confetti rained down, you looked up and saw her sitting in the stands. She looked at you sweetly. You hadn’t seen her since the dunk; you figured surely she had left you for good after proving how pathetic you were. You were in complete shock. Not only that she was here, but that she seemed happy to see you.
    “Hey, honey, I’m sure now you realized why I did all that to you. I had to prove to you that things could get worse for you. You were so scared to fail completely that it made you worse. I knew I just had to plunge you directly into failure, show you what it really is like, so that you could grow from rock bottom. And now look at you, you’re a champion!”
    You immediately got off the floor and ran to her. You picked her up in a hug and spun her around. “Thank you so much baby, I love you!” You shouted. She smiled her girlish smile and kicked her heel up as you kissed her. Things were back to normal and she was your girl again.
    As she pulled away from your kiss, she grew a big grin across her face. “And just remember, anytime you feel like you’re being dominated and outdone by a man, just let me know and I’ll thoroughly remind you how bad it is to be dominated by a woman.”
    Like whiplash, you had no idea what to say. As you stared at her dumbfounded, she smiled and playfully tapped you on your nose. You shuttered; you wouldn’t need any reminders on that anytime soon
