Description
A Western damselfly with a -to me - unknown prey..it might be some kind of leaf hopper...Or maybe a plant hopper (Metcalfa_pruinosa) ?

Ever watch these guys eat? Great personality in them. I watched one finish off some kind of mayfly I think. The way it wiped away the wings when it was finished was cute in a natural, wild, hellish way.

From a distance, the damselfly appears to be wearing a welding helmet.

Looks like the typical kind of moth that gets indoors all the time... I think they're called meal moths? Probably isn't, though, since those curl their wings when they aren't flying. But regardless, this is one amazing shot!!! It's almost unreal, it's so good.

You are welcome. I have always been amazed by insects and the dragonfly is my favorite.
They date back to prehistoric times.
Love to watch them fly/hunting for food, they look like tiny helicopters.
