Finally we have a real old fashioned Dutch winter again and it seems like everyone is celebrating it.Ice skating has always been a Dutch tradition, we learned skating as soon as we could walk, but since global warming this seemed to have turned into nothing but an old memory...
And now it's back: everyone from young to old is skating, with each other, with chairs, with strollers and people even bike on the ice.
And all of a sudden I noticed this strange unfamiliar feeling: 'We can be such a nice country from time to time.'

...But I have to admit I havn't skated on any lake this year.
I really love winter sunsets, and it's captured here so well! The ice beautifully reflects the sunlight and the silhouettes look amazingly... human.
