That was one thing that made your picture stand out. In my second grade class we get caterpillars for our life cycle unit and we watch them grow and eventually turn into butterflies! When the caterpillars are a few days from forming their chrysalises, they form a silk "button" that holds them to whatever they're hanging from and a few days later...they're inside their chrysalis! I can see his silk button holding him up and he's definitely in a J-shape. It's all so fascinating!!
