The beautiful While Lady and her ManThe white lion is occasionally found in wildlife reserves in South Africa and is a rare color mutation of the Kruger subspecies of lion. It has been perpetuated by selective breeding in zoos around the world. White lions are not a separate subspecies and they have never been common in the wild.

beautiful shot! White lions are gorgeous animals, and I was fortunate enough to be able to name two 2mnth old cubs (tamu and kito) at a zoo in australia, and I got to go in and sit with them. simply beautiful animals, as are all big cats.
