To get close to these swans I had to lie on the ice.......and I had to pay the price: I caught a fever and had to stay on the couch for four days.....

I love this photo, the 2 sleeping 1 watching you. I also don't envy you tho not only because of the cold you caught, but I don't want to know how many times I've been chase by this birds, since I was little my favorite place to go was also near where a family of swans every year raised their young, very scary powerful birds when they want to be.

hey, it was worth it
like when I was chasing a baby coot around a small part of a lake in my kayak, then finally after 20 minutes I caught it on film
then when paddling away I slipped into the water XD
