Love her face in the last panel. "what just happened?"
Also the system seem interesting but I need to see more of it to understand.

the system is almost exactly Strands of Fate....the differences are mostly minor...by the time I decided to make the book stand alone so that the players wouldn't need to buy another book, I had already committed myself to this system as the example. So my tweaking has been minimal.
Besides, the rules that are included in the book are noted as one method to putting mechanics to the system. other suggested systems include Fate Core (which you can download for free from DrivethruRPG...though I'd suggest trying to pay at least a little bit), HERO system, BESM, Mutants and Masterminds and simple freeform.
My main focus is on the setting.

it is a fun system...though recent experiments have found that it works best either tabletop or voice chat. The play style is significantly different from that of other games. Fate Core uses the same core mechanics (given that Strands of Fate and Fate Core are two different companies interpretations of an older, open source game system). There's a lot of retroactive alteration of rolls. And the players can create story elements by invoking their aspects and spending fate points. They can also gain Fate points when the GM compels their aspects.
In the last box above, I rather imagine that Loren's "Bizarre Circumstances" Aspect got compelled while she invoked her "Master Class Swordswoman" Aspect.
In the ongoing playtest, we have a character who's a "Prophet" which means he subconsciously pushes the timeline down specific paths.
At one point, one of the two female NPCs his character had been flirting with decided to take a taxi home, so far, every time they hired a taxi, it's been the same person: the other female NPC. So, I offered him a Fate Point compelling his "Fortune is Fickle" Aspect and if he took said Fate Point, the taxi coming to pick up the one woman would be the other woman. He took the Fate Point and bingo, Betty and Veronica time.
Later, the same person accidentally triggered a bomb and he invoked his "Fortune is Fickle" Aspect so that the mine would be a dud.
Later I invoked his "The Everpresent Threat of Inanimate Objects" aspect to have him get tangled up in a laundry line.
One of the other players has invoked her "Artist of White Magic" aspect to make her spells easier to cast. And also her "Aura of Ease" aspect provided by one of her powers to calm people down.
The third character is a "Visionary" who have an unconscious perception on the laws of nature and reality that allows them to sometimes create things that seem reality bending (when it's really just firmly knowing the way things work). He invoked "Paranoid Visionary Hacker" and "Royal Mail" Aspects (the second representing his postman job), to declare that he had a highly time-saving method of going about his rounds even though he's on foot.
I hope to have some of the recorded stuff up for viewing on youtube later...have to edit first.
