I understand where you're coming from. But in no case did we ever see him with a cigarette either. I mean it goes both ways. I just mentioned it because I've seen a lot of artwork where people have Masky/Tim and Hoodie/Brian mixed up and portray Brian smoking rather than Tim.

If we did see him with a cigarette then nobody could say he doesn't smoke, but just because we didn't see him with one doesn't mean he doesn't do so. I made a drawing about Tim smoking though, and yeah, I know the story of the series.
