Description
Done over three days with the bulk of the work just finished today.

I wanted to give the impression that some dark and malevolent nebula kind of entity was consuming the planet. Even though I had the idea in my head and how I would accomplish the task, it rapidly became one of those easier said than done scenarios.

I experimented and came up with this instead. Maybe it looks like it's being consumed, maybe it doesn't. I like the end result all the same!

Done using Paint Shop Pro and some planet and star making plug ins.. Also used my own photographic stock images for other effects in this shot.
