Description
I made this last December for my little brother’s 12th birthday whose favourite Pokemon are Cyndaquil and Quilava. He didn’t say anything besides “thanks” but I could see from his face that he was happy and that’s enough for me.
I wanted it to be simple so I didn’t do any complex background, but later on I wished I had done something more.

I love the illumination of Cyndaquil's coat from the flames. The fire is also a very intense blend of color. Nice!

Really, I appreciate you folks who use copics. I tried once and it turned out very difficult stuff to do. Now I use just my color pencils XD

To be honest, it has been years of progress. Very long time indeed about 5 or 6 years I guess. I was horrible Copic user at start as well, I actually started from Promarkers when I started high school, then to Neopikos and finally to Copics just 3 years ago. During those years I learned that it means a lot what paper do you use. Like for me, the official Copic Marker paper doesn't suite for my drawing style because I layer the colors so much. Copic Marker Pad will start to "puddle" too early and also this paper I have been using nowadays does that as well at some point, but rarely.

I should practice with 'em too 'cause our scanner doesn't like pics where I used color pencils... All colors get messed up every time I try to upload my work in DA D': But copics are so expensive...

I started with Ciao's and moved on Sketch when I needed some tone that Ciao collection didn't have. I was lucky 2 years ago because there was a tiny art store that sold Ciao's more cheaper and I was in good terms with the owner.

I feel that everything what I have bought start to broke or not working so I'm kinda little off with stuff.
I sometimes using effects with color pencils (it would be nice to learn little painting stuff only money is short and I want to save money to October for jp 3DS and many others).
But very nice cards you have done

Mikä se kynä juttu oikein o suomeks (hitto ku mä vihaan temperaa kun en tykkää niist myyjist varsinkaa siit mummost).
Mäki harvoin käytän värikyniä kun ajattelen et se olis jonkilainen huijaus enkä pysty enään pitää sitä copic työnnä vaikka se antaa enemmän eloa niihin väreihin >< (olen liian tarkka kaikis ja eristän joka ikisen pikku asian, ehkä sen takia en pidä mun piiroksista kun katon kaikki erinä osina enkä kokonaisuudessa >< )

Sama vika, en osaa kattoa kokonaisuutta ollenkaan enkä osaa oikein käyttää värejä oikein... :/ Puuvärit, vesivärit yms toisi vaan lisää mahdollisuuksia piirustuksien yms tekemiseen joten yritän päästä tuosta just samanlaisesta ajatuksesta eroon pikkuhiljaa. Haluan kuitenkin oppia lisää ja paremmaksi piirtäjäksi.
Temperan ne nuoret myyjät on ihan mukavia. Se on joku Sakura/Picma-Micron kynä, itseasiassa sitä taitaa saada myös semmoisesta skräppäys-pakkauksesta jossa on erilaisia Sakuran kyniä. Löytyy myös joistain Suomalaisista kirjakaupoista. Se on vaan semmoinen kynä minkä päässä on kuulakärkikynämäinen kuula josta tulee semmoista valkoista "maalia". Sitä saa myös Lahden Taide&Kehys-liikkeestä jos Desuun oot menossa. Mut luulen et jotkut halpis valko-kynätkin käy.

Mäki haluisin tehdä erilaisia tyylei mut luovutan aika paljon ja pelkään et mä varastan/markin jokun muun tyyliä ja kaikkee.
Juh ne nuoret o paljon mukavia mut se ihme mummo o sellainen et saa sellasen inhottavan kun se puhuu ja kattoo siihen inhottavan tyyliin...
Mul o ollut täl hetkel valko kynä geeli mut kumpikaan ei enään toimi vaikka sitä on sisällä viel, sit se painellus kynä juttu, toinen ei enään toi mi ollenkaa ja tää uus minkä ostin niin se on alkannut pelleilemään... No oon huono kaikes ja mul o kaikki virheelliset niin kai o merkki lopettamiseen.
