I'm a big fan of Eliza. Klasky Csupo had some great female role models in their shows. They featured interesting, independent and rounded girl characters, which are a rarity, especially today. It's too bad they're no longer around.Also this show pretty much rocked. I was a huge animal nerd when this was on the air, so I watched along with my little sister when it came on, and it was very accurate and never dumbed stuff down for its audience. Also, Tim Curry was the voice of Nigel! How awesome can you get?

I miss this show and the other Klasky-Csupo cartoons. They were the best. I wish they'd come back... Which reminds me, I heard they'd rather make new episodes of Rugrats than resume work on All Grown Up and that Arlene Klasky said that if given the opportunity, she'd love to work on Rugrats again. Hopefully that opportunity will arise eventually...

Two years after this was published I stumble across this. Hey there, if you're still out there: This work is fantastic!! I love what you've done with my childhood, it's a shame we dont see much more of Eliza and her likes around in today's animation work.

Watched this show as a kid back in the day. It was one of my favorites, not just because it had to do with animals, but because the main character was talented and despite being 'homely', she could kick arse!

Ahh I loved this show when I was little. When I was young I loathed how Eliza looked. I was a little girl and I liked to look at "pretty" characters. I also had a crush on Danny Tamberlli so I don't know what my standards were haha.
I like her design now that i'm older though. i like that she's not some super pretty girl. She's a girl you might see walking down the street. I loved when her hair was in lower braids more than the outer ones (which doesn't seem very possible haha) and loved the movie.
