Done really quickly this evening for my Graphic Essay class. We had to write a description of a location and then depict it. My description sucked, but for a three-and-a-half-hour job I'm pretty happy with the painting.Uhg I am so busy, why did I waste time this weekend D:

This is the greatest forest ever I want to live here. In my life, and because i'm weird, there are certain locations (most of them) that make me very sad and I never want to be there. The forest scene is the complete opposite. It's the scene in my life that gives me joy, and a purpose! This forest would make me the happiest person in the world. Paint this on my wall in my room please!

Alot of these landscapes remind me of the eyepoping backgrounds of Disney movies....but with much better definition and coloring.

Thank you! I got over my fear of backgrounds by no longer thinking of them as backgrounds. If something becomes important to me, and not just complementary to a figure, I paint it more willingly.

Yum. :3 I love the green-ness of the bridge, and the blues in the background that make it feel like distance. You're always so completely awesome with colours; lend me some of that plz? O_o (I suxor).
And I will never guess how you have so much patience for painting bark and leaves and grass and other details! I admire that patience!
