Man watercolors are so fun! Just play around with them and you'll love them. As for brushes, avoid buying any one brush for less the 5 dollars..

To be honest I am fairly new to watercolors and I just happened to find these ones in my garage lying around.. They are tubed paints and have Japanese writing on them, so I really have no clue
