The premise was to choose a scene from his comic and do it in your style. So I picked the last panel on page 94. [link]
I don't enjoy drawing agonizing whales, but I really liked the mood of the scene. The main character has reached a breaking point and the world around him (literally) is spinning out of control. Plus it was challenging for me..because I've never attempted surface water, lightning, or rain like this. I have to say...the rain was the hardest thing and I'm still not pleased with it.
Phew. Anyway...
