Not bad at all, how long do I have to do all of that if I wished for a slot, and how long would I have the slot for? (though the slot to the foal obviously wouldn't be available til the foal was of age).

You would hold the slot until otherwise stated (by you) and you'd have a month to complete his image, that locks you into the slot indefinitely. Breeding picture is a must before creating foal, of course.

Mainly to have and to love and to draw. I've been putting extra effort into making sure all my horses get equal attention, but I have a very soft spot for a few (my Nords among them). I want to get my Nate up to Supreme Blood, and his daughter Fig to at LEAST Excellent, and this foal (from Fig, when she's ready) to Excellent as well. I want to have a short line of horses that are amazing examples of the breed and he is a stunning specimen. As for specific discipline, I can't say. I go with whatever 'feels' right. Nate is going into eventing and Fig will probably follow, so I'd say I'd try to make it a 3-day eventer and proper warhorse.
