i love how the cookies aren't perfect; this displays homemade. homemade being the heart of christmas time. the joy of creating, with family and friends. it isn't serious and precise, its playful and young. the lights in the back set a feeling of home. something you can come and cozy up to. i couldn't understand what the cat was looking at, but her eyes look innocent. shes showing vulnerability and that's a relieving feeling. it's like opening up, being yourself. that's what the holidays are all about <:
