Ever since her terrorizing fall in the BC last year, Intuned never quite recovered the drive to run she had been well known for. As if she knew how close to death she had come, she was content to laze around the paddock for hours on end, simply enjoying the breeze or the sunshine, enjoying being alive.

On the track during her morning workouts, she performed well, but not spectacular. Our Grade I champion was now... average.

Thus, we decided that her time as a racehorse was finished. She simply no longer wanted to run.
