Description I don't want clever conversation
I never want to work that hard
I just want someone that I can talk to
I want you just the way you are.
"Just the way you are" - Diana Krall

I don't need anything witty

or really that smart.

I just want a giggle
to be a girl

willingly blinded by love.

I was a little shocked when I came across this piece. I was looking through my devwatch list going through your new pieces, I had just looked at Wishing, Sound of White, Daydream (all pretty, but very similar) but when I came across this piece I couldn't help but stop and stare. Granted, it's not as beautiful as the others, but perhaps thats what caught my eye.

The three aforementioned pieces are all so, clean, white, clear. So perfect in their appearance that, in this world, they were flawed. Like the viewer (or maybe just me) sees it and relizes it's not genuine, then we come to 'Talk to Me' and and stopped dead in my tracks. Those other three pieces (please realize I'm not picking on them, just using them as a contrast) were pure and very angelic, but this piece is so much more human, littered with human imperfections and the ever unwinding flaws of human creations.

She's (your model, you I think) horrified, you can see that sinister grin that manages to fight it's way onto your face as a precursor to horror. She's gotten bad news. She's already a wreck, perhaps she knew it was coming. What is she going to do? Her world is unweaving, falling apart and is beautifully demonstrated by the loose, frizzy hair and damaged phone cord. It's beautiful, not in an aesthetic way but in more of a true to life way. It's horrible, it sucks when things like that happen, but without those moment you could never fully appreciate the beauty and serenity that flourish in moments like those in Wishing, Sound of White, and Daydream.

Unlikely as it would seem, and odd as it may seem, I think this piece makes a wonderful contrast to the other three. They enhance each other, just as despair enhances euphoria. Awesome stuff, kiddo. Keep it up!

It's interesting to see your intepretation ^^ I can definetly see where you're coming from xD

I guess I hadta practice more on my closed mouth smile xD For me, the original idea is just a simple picture of a girl receiving a call from her loved one and just enjoying the sound of his voice.
But I guess when it's contrasted against the other white pictures, this does seem quite a lot darker x3

Appreciate your input much! n_____n <3

Then again I could be horribly wrong in my whole interpretation.
