I finished it woo!
So, yea. I did this while my brother was watching Pink Panther 2. Anyway, I really like how this turned out. This thing ended up being 16 layers! O.o Yea that's a lot for me.
Anyway I actually am okay with the background. I'm still working on those.
The reason the mermaid is brighter than most everything else in the picture is because I suspect shes some kind of nobility, maybe a governors daughter or something. (do they have governors in the ocean?!) Or a traveler or something so she doesn't blend in with the terrain. Who knows I just like red
And the octopus........*sighs* My mom was giving me stuff about my octopus thing.
She goes, "Octopus' don't look like that! And that one only has like 7 arms! So it must be a pentapus"
Then I go, "Mom, that would be a five legged one. Like in Avatar the Last Airbender."
"What?"
"Yea, penta means five. If mine has seven as you say, it would be a heptapus." I retort.
Yep just a basic conversation between me and my mom on most days. I told her one arm was just not visible but she didn't believe me. What do you guys think?

Anyway so there may be more in this "series" I kind of have an adventure for the mermaid and her friend (who will need names later I guess) Who knows.
So hope you like ^^

Oh! I have names, how do you like Rain (mermaid) and Sydney? (octopus-thing)
