Well for starters, Shadow of Reven would have happened much differently.
For starters the champions of the Light and Dark are not his enemy's but his potential allies who he arranged the more unstable elements of his Faction to meet their end at, before revealing himself. (Explaining he used a powerful Force ability to teleport himself to the safety of a ship. And that it took time to recover from hence his time building in the Shadows.) Becoming their primary rallying point against Vitiate who they all face on Yavin 4 to try and stop his resurrection. But even the tactical mind of Revan overlooked him simply using the large amount of people who died fighting his dark creatures, in order to stop him from achieving it anyway.
Leading to him and HK becoming the morally grey adviser to the champions. (Well Revan is at least. HK is just their out of loyalty to his creator and for the fun or it.) Whenever they come across a situation that challenges their beliefs in the dark or the light.
When captured Valkorian, once again continues his torment of the Grey Jedi by saying it was his influence that led him to build the Eternal Empire, and found love. Having seen such things in his memories three century's ago.
(Valkorian has a different view on it. He see's it as flattery as he deeply respects Revan as a former ally and adversary. But because he's, you know Vitiate. Even that manifest's in ugly ways. The Immortal Emperor of course simply refuses to see it in any other light other then positive.)
Revan becomes a duel protagonist with the Outlander at this point (and it's 47, not 55 that rescues them during the escape, and doesn't sacrifice himself at the duel with Arcann. As Reven is there instead to take and survive the lighting.) warning about the Sith lord when he starts to body surf in the Outlander, having experience with sharing with him.
In the end he's there to deliver a killing blow alongside the Family and Outlander. Proclaiming. "For the life and friendships who stole from me."

That's a very interesting take on it, I like it
I had a similar idea involving my Fem.Revan, where at the Foundry, the Sith Warrior tells her Vitiate is either dead or simply not on Drumond Kaas. She calls off the attack and returns to the shadows, recruiting the Sith Warrior. In "Shadow of Revan" she unites her Revanite forces on Rishi and Yavin. The latter planet it becomes clear that things are not as they appear. The Revanites seem to be at war with the Emperor's Death Cult and in what would be the second to last boss fight, Revan reveals that she's in fact trying to stop the ritual to revive the Emperor by the leader of the Death Cult. In the last Battle she, the Jedi Knight and the Sith Warrior defeat the Death Cult leader, but as you said, Revan overlooked him simply using the large amount of people who died fighting his dark creatures, in order to stop him from achieving it anyway.
After the Outlander {or rather Outlanders, with the 8 player classes each sharing the title so it seems the Outlander is everywhere at once} is/are freed, Revan becomes a companion and advisor to them with both 47 and 55 rescuing them. Revan easily deflects and redirects Arcaan's force lightning. She also warns the Jedi Knight about Vitiate/Valkorian when he starts to body surf in the Knight, having experience with sharing with him.
Like in your ending, Revan is there, to deliver a killing blow alongside the Family, the other 7 player class characters and the Jedi Knight and bring lasting peace between the Republic and the Empire, The Jedi and the Sith, and dies an old woman, passing HK onto the Jedi Knight's descendants and becoming one with the Force.

My ending would have Revan admit that he thought he would die when Vitiate did, thinking that their life force was connected that far. But apparently not.
Regardless. Knowing that the Sith Lord can, and is defeated. They say they will explore this new galaxy and maybe in some secret corner if it he can find a way to return to his own time as the current Era, is a place he know he doesn't belong.
(Not to mention they miss their friends and secretly hopes he can save the Exile and T3.)
Whether or not this motive is true, wishful thinking, or just an excuse for him to leave now that their enemy is dead is left ambiguous as is the question if they will ever see them again. He takes to the stars in a recovered and repaired Ebon Hawk with HK at their side.
On another topic it would be very interesting to hear Sena and them interact as she finds many of the things Revan is similar to the quality's that drew her to Valkorian, minus the apathy. And begins to suspect much of what she knew of him was just Valkorian taking influence form them.
On another, another topic. I came across this gut wrenching video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6UJyU…

True... and the Valkorion family soap opera makes more sense for Sessma and Usagi than for Makoto and Tenaya 7... but it's still a pain in the arse that we won't be able to be teamed for it.
