thurisaz β€” Where Did The Light Go?

Description Around these December days up here, it's fairly difficult to catch the "right" light if you want to shoot some photos outside. Myself, I like to sleep for an extended period of time in my holidays, and that's the problem. The sun never shows during these months and days, and the light is at a maximum for only 2-3 hours a day. This pano is shot around noon, and you can see how the light was already escaping behind the mountains to the right. Walked in snow up to my knees for a while before I found a spot, the colors were absolutely worth it, and it was totally quiet up there!

Sorry if the colors are a bit too bright or dark, I'm borrowing a laptop

Thanks so much Swantje! I don't know if you recognize the mountains from one of my other panoramas, but it's the same island. The light was incredible, a bit freezing with snow to my knees but it's nothing when you have a view like this

They certainly exist yes, and the emotion is rather impossible to expressed as you say... Walking with snow to your knees, smelling that frosty chilling air, listening to the complete silence and just breathing the nothingness. It's magic!
