Yeah, deleting Roxanne from the second movie wasn't a good move at all ~ . I'm glad that I didn't have ever to see that movie in my childhood and I'm very fine with that ~ . And I'm drawing an illustration, where they find each other after the years passed on ~ .

Yea it wasn't anything really to write home about. It defiantly could have been a whole lot better if they had Roxanne in it for the first movie they built up to such a great romance but they just didn't have her there. I can't wait to see that illustration.

This is also going to Disney-Club's contest, and this was only a coincidence ~ .Β
And to be fair, I've started to think more about Disney and... The development of Disney hasn't been as good as it has used to be ~ . Roxanne of course is a big problem, but something else ~ . I mean, the 3D films they've made, I don't like them, they're 3D, not an actual animation ~ . Toy Story is of course different but still, the ones they've published lately ~ . Not anymore Donald Ducks, Mickey Mouses or anything of their traditions, just a problems of teenagers and 3D films ~ .

Thats true most of the new Disney movies don't appeal Β atleast they are better then the new tv movies or the tv shows. Now of days people like doing 3d because it is quicker though it can be worse then not doing it by hand. The things they do now just panders to the people of now. What we are used to was timeless they didn't try to make pop culture they made classical stuff by doing what they thought was going to be a good movie or a good show not what was going to make them money and get them views.

I watched Tangled 4 or 5 years ago and to be fair, the movie itself wasn't really breathtaking ~ . It was well made of course, but it didn't have the same style as Disney used to have ~ . Β If it didn't have any Disney logos on it, I would've thought it was made by someone else ~ .
Of course it is quicker and maybe, easier but for me, there is already oversupply for 3D films ~ . It's just typing the controls for a model to do something and that's it ~ . One favored Finnish animator student uses 3D techniques to provide the model for the actual hand drawing of the animation, it may give the hand drawn feeling to it ~ .Β

Exactly they are just worried about saving time and money instead of making something stand out. The new Disney is trying to make big money by making flashes in the pain instead of making art.

You know what did just pop out of my head ~ ? Thinking about the mass industrialism of Disney novaddays, scrapping Roxanne out of Max's life, not giving any explanation tells about two things ~ . It is somewhat dull and boring but also too real, not actually Disney-like *And so they did live happily ever after*, which is something I really hoped for him and there's still hope for it in my opinnion ~ . It might tell about how lazy they've got, or how sloppy the development is just forgetting some one important in a movie that was a hit by it's time and still is ~ .

The Disney we grew up with is dead and buried. Now Disney is a company who just tries to appeal to 25% every one to 75% to a small group which is not equal to success. It will make them a lot of money but still it doesn't equal to immortality.Β

If they made in traditional way, instantly, it would cost a lot, but considering the success in a long timespan, the success would be financially more sustainable and better than creating everything with 3D-methods ~ . Of course, if you're trying to get the traditional feeling using the 3D-methods, and thus make it a traditional cartoon-like that's perfectly fine ~ !Β

You said the reason they probably never go back to their original style too much money now of days people worry more about spending money then making long lasting art. Yea that wouldn't be bad though I highly doubt that they would do it.

Well what you're saying is not all what I'm meaning with this ~ . Let's take a political example: Finland is part of the EU, and we have a lot of financial and political problems now of days ~ . A professor of a certain university has declared that secession from EU would instantly cost a lot, but in long distance, it would be the best choice economically ~ .Β
Now, if Disney does the same way with the 3D and other flash cartoons as this professor stated about Finland's and EU's secession, it would only instantly cost a lot, but in long distance, it would be the best choice in both economical and traditional aspect ~ !
Return to your roots, and see what was better there ~ ! Disney should do the traditional cartoons and maybe one day, some one there will notice this ~ !

Oh I know though there is a lot of Americans who just want to make money with out doing that much or spending that much money where people like me and you believe to get success you need to put in effort and time that's what I was trying to say like you said professor I am guessing its better in the long run but Finnlind (Disney) will not do it since it cost money and effort
