did an amazing job helping out with doing to colors, they actually did shading too but something went wrong on my computer and the shading got glitched up, so i had to remove it. very unfortunate

Personality: Garuda's First and only Loyalty is to Hadrea. Things like the Tamed, The Government, and other groups all come second in this regard. She likes to consider herself Hadrea's friend and trusted companion, accepting this is all she will ever be to the Tamed leader. Garuda is very loyal, following all orders exactly to the letter with little hesitation or deviation. Friend or foe, if you get in the way of her completing a direct order, you will be removed.
When not acting for the Tamed, Garuda tends to keep to the base and has become somewhat resistant to leaving its boundaries for reasons she won't disclose. Despite this, Garuda is very open and friendly to those she meets. she can have a bit of a sarcastic bite when she gets annoyed, which despite her friendly nature is surprisingly often. patience was never her strong suit. Garuda is an awful liar, and most often ends up having to cover her mouth and walk away before she blurts something out

Backstory: Garuda remains fairly tight lipped on the subject of her past, not willing to elaborate on the subject any farther back than the 'turning point' in her life a year ago.
It was chance that it happened, but Garuda actually bore witness to the battle in which Hadrea first revealed her true form. While running a late night errand, the sounds of battle piqued her curiosity, and led her to seeing something that would change her life. Garuda was instantly entranced by Hadrea, even more so after hearing her speak of her bold ambitions and see her transformation into a god like being.
as the battle intensified, she was forced to leave for cover... But the event stayed in her mind even after the battle. She was convinced that it destiny that she witnessed that battle, that she should take this as a sign to follow and serve Hadrea... But how? She would need power far greater than she naturally possessed to even so much as stand in the shadow of a goddess.
Thus began her search, knowing that the parasite pandemic would be a quick way to gain power. After weeks of searching, Garuda was met with a mysterious man who offered her the power she sought. This was how she learned of the genetic research company BioCo and the secret of its Parasite research program. She volunteered immediately.
What followed was months upon months of testing and training, getting her body in the prime condition while her future parasite was being developed at the same time. It was difficult , taxing her mentally and physically, but she was determined to see it through to the end. Her life became a series of infections and transfusions, supplemented with a strict diet and rigorous exercise... Until at long last it paid off.

Origin: experiment 17 was a 'manufactured' parasite, made by a genetics research company not affiliated with the government. The company, BioCo, was originally founded with intent to breed genetically perfect animals by rewriting their DNA in hopes that these animals would be able to better survive in earth's irradiated atmosphere. Upon being bought out, the company turned its genetic research to a different use, the study and breeding of parasites. Rumor has it that BioCo's research surpasses that of government scientists on the subject.
Experiment 17 was meant to be an example to show off exactly what they could do, in hopes of interesting the Government in taking them under contract. Terror bird fossils where taken from museums for extensive Study. The extracted DNA of Phorusrhacos longissimus was decoded and rewritten hundreds of times. Trace amounts of DNA from similar species and even modern birds was written into the parasite's to increase performance. BioCo even went As far as to add small amounts of its future host's DNA for the sake of better compatibility once joined. The resulting Terror bird is considered to be bigger, smarter, faster, and stronger than its origin DNA source would have been in life.

The Infection: experiment 17 was directly injected into its willing Host, Karuna, in a controlled environment. Well contained, the terror bird was able to do no harm when it first took form after being injected. It only took a few minutes for Karuna's will to overpower the parasite and take her symbiotic form for the first time. Rising up, Karuna at long last felt the power she had worked so hard for, and upon seeing the new form she had taken she could only smile. She had desired to serve the goddess Kali, and so, she would become Garuda, guardian and servant to the goddess.
Personality: experiment 17 has little personality of its own. It is a fairly simple creature with simple goals; to hunt, kill, and eat. It is a predator, and it knows it. Much like its host, experiment 17 is non-discriminatory in its hunting, friend or foe, if something is in its way or it looks like a tasty morsel then this terror bird will eliminate it.
Experiment 17 has shown some skill for problem solving. The bird is capable of solving simple tasks such as getting through locked doors or navigating Mazes.
