Background:
Naomi's background is pretty cut-and-dried: She's an only child who lives with her father (a British immigrant) and her mother (a second-generation Japanese woman). Her grandparents all live in their respective countries, and every so often the three go and visit. Naomi's father is the biggest influence on her, sports-wise: they played baseball and soccer together when she was young. He's very go-with-the-flow, and Naomi gets quite a bit of her positive nature from him. Her mother is stricter, but is very patient - she had 7 sibilings when she was growing up. Description of Character:
Naomi is definitely a person who rushes into things, who leaps without looking. Relying on her instincts and emotions, she is impulsive and often extremely random in her actions and conversations. This can lead to confusion from her peers - often telling her things like, "Where did THAT come from? We were talking about the pool! What do ostriches have anything to do with that?"

She says whatever pops into her head, often being unintentionally rude and thoughtless. Brutally honest, Naomi can't understand why telling someone they don't fit into their pants would be annoying. To her, she is simply observing and reporting, telling the truth. She has no idea what "subtlety" and "tact" are, although many people try to alert her to these foreign concepts. Frequently.

Naomi has a hard time relating to other people. When she focuses on something, she gives it her full attention. Yes, she knows you twisted your ankle, but that's not important!
