Description This one is called the "Brüggeman-Altar", build from 1514 to 1521, about 12.60m high. Shows the legend of the Passion in 392 figures, completely made of oak-wood
very dark in there, flashlights not allowed - this is my best one..

I have to say that I´m not very religious at all. But every time I enter an old and big church like this, there is a special feeling, particularly if there is a piece of art like this altar. This buildings, such art shows even me, how much energy belief set free. (puh, hope this is understandable..)

I agree, I like places like this for the beauty and serenity found here. Also it reminds me of days when people did not hurry their lives as much and the art they created those days was outstanding.

But I´m afraid about this times wasn´t as peaceful as ours. I prefer books about the medieval times and - if they are investigated in a serious way - what´s descriped there about livin in this times...Don´t know....
