Description This is my first piece for my war collection. So far it’s done in graphite pencil, however I’m considering painting the background red in acrylic paint or painting poppies.

Wonderful, it looks like a photo about the background, its coloring depends on your aim: in my mind, poppies would be celebrative, while red would look stronger, more dramatic (of course you can think different )
