Description
A way to turn a photo into an oil painting! I used Photoshop CS6 for this. The most important part in this tutorial is the oil paint filter, which is used to get the look of the brush strokes. If your version of Photoshop doesn't have this (I believe it was removed in Photoshop CC 2014), you can leave the step out if you want and simply not have the brush stroke layer, or you can try to get the effect a different way, such as painting on a new layer with a custom brush to replicate the effect.
