It's about a girl named Marina who moves to a beach house with her mother who's a marine biologist. While jogging on the beach early one morning, Marina finds a stranded mermaid named Aquaria and helps her back into the water. Convinced it was a dream, or just her imagination, Marina is in for a big surprise when she finds that Aquaria is a real live mermaid and begins a secret friendship with her that develops into a lesbian relationship. Pictured also are Stormy and Finz who are the playful dolphin guardians to Marina and Aquarius and are also a mated pair.
