I don't get why people would even think that.
(straight) guys don't fuck with other guys either, and do they HATE guys? Well, no. Look at your typical straight guy, and he has mainly male friends.

Actually, in retrospect both their expressions are awesome. Your style, too, is really nice and loose. As in, not rigid, I mean - some artists draw people so stiff they look robotic, but your characters here look quite natural.

Well, that's just my opinion, anyway.

Also, I want her hair. So badly. I'm a bit of a dyke myself, but my family's reeeeeally conservative and I'm not through college yet, so I can only dream of having an awesome mohawk. But mine'll be rainbow colored

TicklishSocks In reply to Sigma-Helo [2011-05-25 07:47:18 +0000 UTC]

Fancy, I'd get a mohawk if I wasn't too lazy and wouldn't like my mane too much haha

chronocrossfanboy [2011-05-12 19:43:04 +0000 UTC]

The "cake man" doesn't know the difference between having no sexual attraction and hating someone.

By that logic, I hate my mother.

Cake Man is the next Freud

chronocrossfanboy In reply to TicklishSocks [2011-05-14 00:31:29 +0000 UTC]

I was just saying how illogical the Cake Man was.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TicklishSocks In reply to chronocrossfanboy [2011-05-14 01:50:06 +0000 UTC]

And Freud's thesis of how every man wants to kill his father and sleep with his mother wasn't illogical? ; )

pittstop [2011-05-05 14:27:05 +0000 UTC]

I'm liking this series because it plays with the stereotypes and bigotry in a way that highlights the inherent hypocrisy of "normal" people.

And I learned a new word - misandrist

Thanks, I'm really glad to get so much positive reaction to Queer Matters.

Well-Hi-There [2011-05-05 14:07:01 +0000 UTC]

This comic is so true ;A;

I am a lesbian, but I wouldnt say I HATE men.... but stereotypes say i do. geez, stereotypes. you learn so much about yourself that you didn't know before~

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TicklishSocks In reply to Well-Hi-There [2011-05-05 15:39:44 +0000 UTC]

Because clearly, your sexual attraction determines whether or not you hate the gender you are not attracted to.

Hurp durp

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Well-Hi-There In reply to TicklishSocks [2011-05-05 22:06:59 +0000 UTC]

obviously it does.

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

Daniel-Gleebits [2011-04-28 12:22:22 +0000 UTC]

Yes, because the world is black and white like that. It makes it easy for artists to draw the world and for people to be lumped easily into categories like this. Lovely friends, people like that

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TicklishSocks In reply to Daniel-Gleebits [2011-04-28 12:27:49 +0000 UTC]

Your sexual orientiation obviously dictates whether or not you like a whole gender.

After all, all straight women hate women and all straight men hate men.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Daniel-Gleebits In reply to TicklishSocks [2011-04-28 12:35:47 +0000 UTC]

Oh quite, it applies to other orientations too. I, as a bisexual, am obviously a sexual addict who gets turned on by each and every man and woman that walks by me. It's a fun life I can tell you that

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TicklishSocks In reply to Daniel-Gleebits [2011-04-28 12:38:14 +0000 UTC]

Story of my life, mate. All my male and female friends have to live in hamser balls so I can't constantly fuck them.

It's quite terrible.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Daniel-Gleebits In reply to TicklishSocks [2011-04-28 13:06:54 +0000 UTC]

Agreed, we are abominations, are we not? Far removed from the normality that our virtuous others represent, hmm?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TicklishSocks In reply to Daniel-Gleebits [2011-04-28 13:10:38 +0000 UTC]

Quite so. Being able to love or develop a sexual desire for people regardless of gender is clearly a sign of demonic possession and unnatural, perverted, twisted souls.

Pitchforks and torches, that is what we truly deserve!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Daniel-Gleebits In reply to TicklishSocks [2011-04-30 04:34:52 +0000 UTC]

Exactly. For surely, there can be absolutely no good that can come of being able to love people despite barriers such as gender, no, surely we are the damned and the heathens, and deserve no less than to have our lives made like the hell we're surely going to.
I do feel sorry for the world sometimes when I think of how much pain, suffering, and corruption we're inflicting upon it, you know? Though I can't seem to see where this pain, suffering, and corruption really is, but surely that's merely down to my being an abomination; my perceptiveness must be duller than that of our virtuous counterparts

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TicklishSocks In reply to Daniel-Gleebits [2011-04-30 06:07:39 +0000 UTC]

How DARE we to ask for equal rights when there is actually no valid reason not to grant people just the same amount of respect just because of such a pivotal thing as sexuality even though no one would even notice if we were not to tell them about our attraction to the same gender!
Insolence!
Woe is the heterosexual religious white male who has to suffer oh-so much. To give up so much just that the vermin can have a bit more of life's cake.
Ashamed should we be, kneel down and smack our faces 'gainst the curbstone, to taste the cleansing blood and crush out our vile and poisonous fangs with which we prey upon helpless men and turn them into sex obssessed mutants.
