mmm ok, well it may be,sounds reasonable because he wants to help his brother, he considers himself just a tool to achieve his brothers goal (so far), he lost his eyes so he needs new eyes (obitos sharingan and the rinnegan) and maybe he needed uchiha eyes and to not raise suspiscion he picked a death uchiha
but the obito connection is there which was my point xD

I knew that izuna wasn't tobi before naruto manga 599 appear. The interview that I have read was fake. and don't worry before I read and even after I read that interview I still have assumption that tobi is obito

i think anything can happen in naruto, people that should be dead are really alive now, Madara, Orochimaru...there are tons of jutsus to bring people back or just live forever xD so it wouldnt surprise me that Obito was somehow was alive or they healed his eye and took it , i dont know, i just know anything can happen in the naruto world , i just know that i knew there was some obvious Obito-Tobi connection from the beginning
