Here is a story I wrote to go along with it.

Naruto-kun I'll just be a moment!" Sakura yelled as she slowed her pace some, pulling a strand of her light pink hair behind her ear as she did.

"MM!" Naruto yelled back turning to face her, Hinata paused waiting for her date to resume their walk. "Don't be to long Sakura-chan!" turning around he paused a moment, smiling locked his hand within Hinata's they continued down the cobbled path way.

Sakura knelled to the floor, lifting the strap that had come un-done she began putting it in it's rightful place, while she mulled over the days happenings.

The noise of the town drifted on by as she finished strapping it back. Standing up she looked around her, the tree's were blooming and the soft noise of the breeze could be herd in them as it rustled passed the leaves with it's gentle touch. Beginning again Sakura picked up her pace once more, only to be halted by a lurking presence, pausing she looked about herself, standing she felt her eyes drawn to the ground beneath her, a slow moving shadow creeped in behind her. Shocked she raised her hand slowly retrieving a small weapon hidden with in her purse, turning she met her purser.

His eyes glazed over her. They seemed as cold as the winter morning before snowfall, their black nature giving no emotion only a void that seemed to encompass all it held. He clasped her right hand with his left leaving the would be blow to his chest harmless, the other hanged at his side.

The small weapon clanged to the ground as she realized her assailant, Her eye's looked into his, a mix of anger, fear and relief crossed over her. Her hand in his began to tremble, unable to grasp anything, slowly she began to raise her other to the familiar face.

"Sasuke...kun" the words escaped from her mouth as they had done only in moments passing. Her lips trembled, it wasn't a dream, he was here standing before her, so far for so long, and now so close.

Sasuke face light up a small smile as his eyes's began to fill with emotions long since locked away. "Sakura."

Sakura face filled with relief as she clutched his cheek with her hand. "is it really you..?" her voice filled with gladness as tears began to roll down her face. "It's really you"

Nodding gently he pressed his head into her hand letting it catch the falling tears from his face, his eyes melting into all that he had left behind so long ago.

"So long..why.."her voice chocked backed the tears turning from happiness to sadness. Her fist clenching as it fell to her side, her head slowly began to lean into him, exhausted. Tears rolled down her face and onto him.

Naruto paused looking back down the way he'd came.

"Naruto-kun?" Hinta paused looking back at Naruto, who's face had become pale and distance. "It's going to start soon." Hinatas timid voice stated as her face blushed in the glimmering moon light.

"SAKUR..." the words stopped as he realized the familiarity of the presence, turning he began a dead run in the direction he'd come.

"Naruto-kun!" Hinata voice worried as she'd watched him dash away.

"Hinata?" Ten-ten lifted the curtain of the building. "Is everything okay?"

Naruto rushed down the street ways lined in golden brown fences, he's heart rushing /sakura, sakura please be safe!/ he screamed inside his mind. . Grasping the edge of a corner he swung himself around, pausing.

Stunned he stood not willing to believe what his mind told him they'd seen. His eyes begging to slowly widen as tears welled with in them. "Sasuke-kun" the words escaped his mouth lingering long with in the air as they did.

His fists began to clench, and his eyes glared filling with tears of hot rage. Looking from Sakura to Sasuke he pondered what to do, was she endanger, was she okay, had Sasuke hurt her?

"Naruto-kun...it's okay" Sakura cleared her voice as she wiped away the tears that refused to stop. "He's come home" She turned to face him, her eyes beaming with a joy that Naruto hadn't seen in years.

Naruto lowered his fists, and the rage seemed to subside for the moment as a strange bit of relief passed over him. "S-Sasuke?" Naruto stuttered as he slowly began to walk forward. Question if what he was seeing was real.

Sasuke departed from Sakura, leaving her to collect the thoughts that now flooded her mind. Sasuke face revealed a sad smile as the reminded of his tears departed from his eyes.

Naruto half cocked his head, giving him a strange glare as he tried to come to terms with what stood before him. "this isn't some sick joke Kakashi is playing on us?"

Stopping a few steps from him sasuke reached into his shirt, pulling out a clenched fist, putting it before him he opened it for view, a tattered bandanna lay in it, a small leaf, cut through with a dash graced it's front.

The noise of party guest's filled the air, as the sound of music noted it's happy tune. Sakura's flush face stood between the door and the outside of a small building off the main road. "Will you join us?" Sakura questioned looking to her left into the shadows.

A figure slowly emerged reveling but it's shadow, shaking it's head it motioned to leave.

"Sasuke..." Sakura's voice paused as she looked to the ground.

The figure paused looking back at her, this time coming into the light.

Sakura looked up at the figure she stepped forward to meet him. Raising her hand she took from him the bandanna. "welcome home" she smiled placing the band across his head and tying it ever so carefully.

The trees fluttered in the night air a lone figure stood upon the shelf of a large tree.

"A new begging?" a voice questioned from the silence

Sasuke looked to his left, only catching a glimpse of the figures passing black hair. Smiling he turned looking back down upon the ground at the party lights below.

"An old one never started"

SPOILERS BELOW FOR MANGA!

I would like to say this for those who might be confused, as it stands currently in the manga sasuke has "defeated" his brother Itachi, in the last scene of my story we have an unknown person asking Sasuke if he was starting a new begging, this person is Itachi who since giving Sasuke some of his abilities kinda still lingers on. (I also wrote this story under the idea that in my reality Sasuke has moved on from his want and blood lust for his brothers death, and has grown up and come back to the village to start something he never finished. )

I dont' own these characters this is a fan art.
