I knew I recognized that face from somewhere! It's been years and years and years since I watched the original Sakura Wars but its still adorable.
I think the piece is cute, and uplifing in a way but it seems like loli (but thats the point right?) and something about the patterning on the walls seems to make the room seem out of scale. But it's adorable!

Awesome! ^^ I agree with the critique that the lighting is a bit weird, and you could definitely use more contrast between the light and dark tones. Iris's arm on her lap also has a rubbery look to it because it's curved rather than bent. ^^b You did a really great job, though!
