The second illustration of my summer series is here! I really love painting moments within a forest - I spent a lot of my childhood playing in the woods, and I find leaves and water relaxing to paint. With this piece, I enjoyed experimenting with the rocks and grass to make it look like the scene is cast from the top of a hill descending to the pond below.
