ryu is what you call "shallow minded" hes fast to let things slip right out of his mind because he loves picking fights or jumping into them, hes hot head, headstrong and fast to get angry if his alpha is offended in anyway. hes not willing to accept rai as alpha because he still follows gaelic, the true alpha guardian. of course he hasnt forgot one bit about his buddy, but turning his back on his enemy and trying to run could get him struck down or worse, if he was to hunt urik down, he could lead rai right to urik, for all ryu knows, urik may be too hurt to deffend himself which would leave him very vulnerable to being finished off by rai, and rai's just the type to take that advantage.

oh...i suppose that's true. i forgot that ryu doesn't know about arisa yet. it makes sence then why he's fighting, to keep rai away from urik.
