You would have thought the guardians know their leaders... or did I misunderstand the brothers', the princes', standing in the hierarchy?
Who were their parents anyways, and why were they killed, and by whom? I'm led to believe it was those sinister Elders now, but... This plot is just getting more and more interesting and mysterious with each open question!

most all do know their leaders but the winged ones are usually oblivious about the leadership or whats going on in the economy of the guardians, mostly because they
are a carefree breed with not much on their minds.
who wouldnt be care free if they could fly?
the winged guardians normally live in the highest places of the land which is the mountains where not many land guardians will go and this is where they normally
live the rest of their lives away from leaders and government and they will
normally live alot longer then most because of there more laid back personality and
carefree non fighting spirit.
they are nosy though, they act alot like there animal counterpart, nosing around and circling just like hawks do when some ruckus goes down and they have excellent sight that enables them to see extremely well

complete random off subject but what would you think about a oblivion comic based on the races of our own?

But to the point, I think a comic based around Oblivion could actually become a great hit in the fan base. I for one am always searching the screenshot threads for a continuation of the few picture stories I stumbled across looking like they were intended to go on a little longer. If such scenes now weren't presented by screenshots but drawn with your artistic talent (maybe based on actual ingame screenshots for maximum likeness?), a lot of people we know would literally die for it. Include some of the very well known typical events or elements of the game plus some irony, humor or parody ('cause, you know, there's a lot of hilarity to laugh about in this game) from time to time and people will be like "Hey, I was there too already. Oh, yes, this is soo true!" and they will love it. Or at least I think so.
But I could imagine it will take a while to get the plot and the characters and everything prepared, the story in the background.

hahaah yeah, i really have been thinking about it, making up two different characters based souly on adventure comedy more then anything, still giving the story some intense seriousness but also keeping it funny.
i wanted to make the two main characters a wolven anthro and a drake, god knows the things a couple of young male anthros would get themselves into

Oh yes, especially considering the protective nature of both of them. From what I could gather so far the Wolven Anthros are pretty protective of nature and my dragons think of themselves as the dedicated protectors of all things living and will act so whenever soneone or something's in danger nearby. I don't know about the Wolven Anthros but my dragons will also enforce the law or at least fight crime whereever they witness it. No matter which setting the comic will be situated in, but this will always cause some interesting situations. Danger and crime both are timeless and omnipresent.
I can't wait to finally see a drawing of one of my dragons, honestly. I was literally dying to have one drawn at many times before, but can't afford paying for a commission. Now I might get plenty, yay! I don't know what it is with me, but a lot of my dragons' features my mind hasn't settled on, yet. I always need some form of visualization to make up the final designs. I see an image and *bang* there's the new idea. Without an image I only have those faint visions in my dreams I mostly can't remember anymore after I woke up.
