hahahahaah yeah i dont think he will fight with laerune one bit, she's too much for him to handle even at full health. of course i cant see ryu and rai under the same roof, one would kill the other when given the chance.... ryu isnt feeling quiet merciful to rai right now but i could picture ryu and rai waking about the same time and stairing over at each other resentfully before ryu falls off the couch laughing at rai for getting his ass kicked. but my plan is to have laerune most likely go to tori's place since tori's is the closest location that was near and it would be foolish of tori to move him after getting him stable.

he wakes pretty damn pissed off toward tori but he doesnt dare make a move
due to his injuries but he does bless her out.
laerune comes around the corner and socks him in the face hard enough to make
his head spin and leave a bruise XD
but this is because of his earlier fight and putting ryu in such a horrible
condition as he is now.
laerune may despise rai but she doesnt turn down a single person who needs
medical help, its a doctors vow

he can pissed at her if he wants to be, she still saved him wether he likes it or not.
and owchie xD i think around laerune rai's reduced to pretty much a puppy, cause he can't do anything against her. and tori can handle and backtalking or foulmouth he gives her, as he's going off she'd probably just smile and let him finish before saying something like "feel better now?" (of course she also treated his injugeries to the full extent that her herbalist skills would handle. but that's not what she means, she means does he feel better after getting all that anger out of his chest)
then after whatever rai says laerune comes in and socks him good xD
other then him hurting ryu is there any other reason laerune despises rai?

laerune raised alot of children in her days including many in which rai has injured, leaving laerune with a heavy job on her shoulders so she doesnt like him too well because of his cocky attitude but gaelic was one of her all time fav, he never really got hurt but he liked to visit her and have conversation with her time to time.
but laerune doesnt seem to understand or catch on yet that rai's anger isnt his fault, though he seems like he has free will, the elders manipulated him into
being merciless and this caused him to be a pretty cruel leader which is why after so long into the book, he begins to stress about his actions and doesnt know how to make up for it and ryu is not one to forgive so easily.
urik on the other hand is very easy to forgive some one but it would be a cold day in hell before urik would forgive his foster parents because of what they done.
during the next few pgs, you will see glimpses of people rai remembers and mysteriously haunts him though it doesnt explain why these people haunt his memories but of course it will eventually.

urik, arisa, and gaelic i know would be willing to forgive him. ryu and haru would take a bit of convincing but i'm sure it'll happen someday
tori doesn't care what a persons done before, all that matters to her is who you are now and what you deside to do. seeing rai stress so much, she would be more then willing to help him any way she can. and i'm sure they'll find out about the elders manipulating rai. ahiga might already know because of what he'd found.
tori hates seeing people in pain, physical or mental. she'll do whatever she can to help

yeah, gaelic has already honestly forgiven his brother deep down.
he knows something is wrong and it isnt rai that is truly this way
but he thinks its kuekaru who has bewitched rai when it really isnt.
but rai stays more in mental pain than he does physical mostly cause
markine, which is the alpha elder, the one who banished ahiga has
refreshed his old memories to make it seem like it happened yesterday and
he begins to go a bit stir crazy from the stress of it all. its definitely a side of rai people havent seen, rai's link to kuegaru starts to effect kuegaru's emotions aswell, personality wise anyways.

tori's there for him. i just want to hold him right now to try and comfert him. it's like a child who all his life has been manipulated by his parent and is just starting to break away, you just want to reach out to them.
and one of these days i will kill markine, even if i have to jump into the story myself to kill him and make him feel the pain that he's caused so many people

in a way he is alot like a child who has been left unloved. him and gaelic were orphaned when they where about 7 years of age but Dow raised them afterwords, markine is Dow's brother though you probably didnt know this but still you can see the resemblance of the two.
gaelic was protected by the wind elements aura so he wasnt targeted but markine immediately bewitched rai and a young age so his grasp on rai became rai himself but you will find that markine has something against the brothers and why he has been doing what hes doing.

so the wind element protected gaelic but the earth element didn't protect rai? what the heck is up with that?!
and if he's dows brother then shouldn't dow be doing something about him? or did he try before and failed?
does markine have something against them cause of their parents or because of dow by any chance? or is it because gaelic has such a strong connection to the wind element? ...i should stop guessing now..

lol rai never bonded with the earth spirit, gaelic was fascinated with the eagle spirit and so he spent alot of time with her strengthening his relation but rai was not one to bond or show interest in the earth spirit so he never was protected.
Dow is unaware of markine's crimes and markine became vengeful toward their parents which is the reason he chose to target them and he easily was capable of getting away with hurt the boys since he doesnt even need to appear in front of them or lift a finger to harm them when he can have them fooled into killing one another which was his intentions all along, he doesnt know gaelic is alive.
he wishes to lock urik away in the dungeons and throw away the key because urik is the only one his spell of manipulation doesnt work one along with the fact that his powers are canceled out when urik is within a good 30 feet of him.
"why not kill urik?" your probably thinking about him, but markine knows by killing urik, he will have to worry about him being reincarnated again and the cycle would continue so instead, he tried to lock urik away to keep him out of his way of his plot. which is to become the earth guardian, the earth guardians has tremendous powers you can imagine and he wishes to rule as king instead of rai so he's slowly trying to whittle his way up the line to leader. but his goal is far more serious than even rai's plan, once chose as earth guardian, he plans to use the taboo to turn the spirits against one another on earth long enough for them to kill each other. it is very possible for the spirits to vanquish one another from war, in doing so this will eradicate all of earth's inhabitants and leaving earth to him. he literally has the goal to become a god as he supposedly speaks

doesn't markine know that trying to become a god never ends well? urik'll kick that guys ass when the time comes. and i hope rai gets a few blows in himself.
hurting innocent children just because of a grudge against their parents....how the hell did this guy manage to become the elder and no one notice how cruel he was? esspecially dow, you'd think by now he'd realize something was wrong.

thats the thing, you see he got away with his crimes because he is not lifting a finger to do a thing, hes doing all his manipulation and torture through telepathy so they have no proof he is doing so. elders are not a rank, its simply a age in which they have reached a great deal of respect. the ironic thing in this situation is that he came VERY close to becoming king many MANY years ago before the birth of the twins but there mother fell in love with another instead and so he lost his only chance of becoming the king but he was very obsessed with her beauty and so when their father, Luik came into the picture, he became resentful and vengeful for stealing his woman even though she had nothing to do with him really, she was not even in a relation with him but he was one of those odd creeps who overly obsess about the woman of their dreams. he couldnt be satisfied with luik's death because Lareign already had mated for life with him which she only didnt grieve her self to death because of her strong love for her children but markine could not win her so he murdered her the same way he tortures rai. after that, he did not know of there childrens existance because they kept them hidden away far from other guardians until the kids could at least understand their purpose as royalty so in the end, Dow took the two in and raised them after the kids strayed from their homeland in the valley. they were pretty much like wild pups and it was pretty funny watch Dow try to catch them because most of the time they where teasing the hell out of Dow before he could catch em but poor gaelic was the first to get his ass whipped the moment dow caught one of em but they where only stealing Dows suplies and food, guardians dont eat to live but young guardians such as children to young adults aging to 18 must spend the first years of there life just like earth bound creatures, they have to eat to survive but once there element is matured, they no longer need food to live. it shows the story later in the book of there child hood

hahaha yeah, there was a scene in one of the episodes, i do believe its episode 9, the one when gaelic rescues maysume. but yeah. its a hell of a plot ive been working on.
