This one was a commission done quite some time ago,Β for a young lady who wanted a special gift for her boyfriend's birthday. She told me that he's a very big Scifi fan and wanted something personal and special. The sweetest thing ever and the girlfriend we all dream of, don't you agree? She very early on made clear that the pic should show a moon scene with a base and Earth in the back. I took it a step further and started to build a city instead of a small base.Created with Vue, Photoshop and DAZ3d.
So in the end we have a neat scene where even I managed to learn things from. And a young couple that enjoys the result very much and has something I created as a symbol of their love. That's pretty amazing.

Great art by the way. The lighting of the viewing gallery is as good as real. Only issue I have is the Earth, it would be much smaller (if you see the Apollo landings the size of the Earth as seen from the Moon), should be a minor issue reducing the size of the Earth and you should be good.

Absolutely stunning work, i love conceptions of colonized moon & mars and this is a beautiful way to conceive. Particularly digging that dome below with the greenery.
Query though, is that desert the Sahara or some kind of desertified part of earth in the future. The angle is throwing me off.

The Earth there is a photo so my guess is that it is one of Earth's big deserts. But yeah... that's a neat part that can be open for interpretation.

Well taking a close look, I noticed it was more of just Africa being tilted 120-something degrees to the right. Cause i see where Spain is as well.
Personally not much of a fan of the idea that humanity ruins earth either before or as we're leaving it (I think Western Civilization has shown we're capable of moving towards a cleaner earth) so yeah. Still, pretty fun stuff.
