I remember waiting at a bus stop to get to school and saw a girl wearing a Horde T-shirt. I get her attention and say "For the Alliance!"
But I play both sides. Alliance is just special because I started my first character there.

In the beginning I played Horde... but one day I kinda joined the Alliance... now I play both, but mainly Alliance 'cause of my nice guild~ :3

Yeah same, I'm mostly alliance now becuase I have a lot of friends that play it now, not to mention I can't be assed to regrind my blood elf, for armor and junk, because I have no one to pl;ay on horde with so it's pointless. Lore wise I love everybody everybody is fucking awesome!

It's best to be neutral in my opinion. For one, you get to see both sides of a story, which makes it a much funner experience. Plus it makes me hate Godfrey and Co even more due to them being traitorous worms on both the Worgon and Undead fronts. Glory to Azaroth.

Primarily Horde, but I faff around on WrA as Alliance due to a friend with a draenei obsession. And draenei look pretty cool. I just find humans, dwarves and gnomes so incredibly snore-worthy it's not worth it, and night-elves to a point.
Horde is way more fun and interesting, so much less of the 'we are noble heroes, go forth and fix everything and be just and honorable!'. And a lot more weirdos. And a lot less children, or at least children making themselves painfully obvious as children.

From personal experience, it all depends entirely on the community and the server. In past I've bumped into sweet heart horde players and jerky alliance, and recently it was in reverse. Lore wise, I honestly love all the races they're all pretty interesting and fun to read about, and even draw, but gameplay I've been playing alliance as of late, because of my guild and new friends I made there ( not to mention everyone I played with on Horde quit, and I just can't be assed to regrind, in hope that they'll ever come back, which they probably won't)

Definitely. On my home server, it appears that Alliance are generally a lot more nasty and childish, though it isn't like Horde is some shining beacon of chivalry and generosity itself. On WrA Alliance is perfectly pleasant. I don't really know about Horde-side, though I know a bunch of people who play Horde on WrA and it seems they're generally fairly pleasant too.
PVE and PVP servers are always a lot nastier in general. So much more competition and a much higher rate of assholes (my home server is PVE).

Love both sides. I have a pandaren hunter siding on the alliance, and I have an undead (or forsaken) for the horde. They are my main toons <3

I really can't be assed to look into the lore to be honest. I mean, each side has it's flaws and you can't say horde/alliance is good guy, because each side done bad/good things. I play alliance because I like how the races look, human females especially
