Description
The apple tree was already old when my parents bought the house. The apples weren't very tasty, so I cut down the tree. It recovered, much to our surprise. The apples tastes better now, and the creeping vines tried and failed at strangling the tree. A small row of cherry trees planted themselves, no doubt with the help of a berry eating bird.
