The expression on its face almost makes it look like its begging for food hehehe i wanna toss it some steaks! How's life in Washington on your side of the evergreens which are everywhere being it's the evergreen state? I'm moving to North Carolina and leaving Washington... and i have lived her for... well almost 15 years hehe... I think i will add you to devwatch before i leave. I am amazed at your cleanness with charcoal. I gave up being crisp with charcoal cause I am the mastah of smudge.

I do a quick faint outline sketch with pencil and then do the picture in charcoal from right to left so my hand doesn't drag the charcoal everywhere... that's how I avoid smudge

I bet you even if I did do it that way, it would still mysteriously smudge like mad. Charcoal doesn't like me much. Plus, I always go back 'cause I missed something.

Your lines area lways so incredible. My patience runs to thin with my pencils. THOUGH.... I've my eye on a set I'm hoping to pick up this weekend. I May just rethink my sketchbook..........its been a while
