If this is offensive to anyone I'll of course take it down.The Battle of Isandlwana (22nd of January 1879) was the first major battle between the British Empire and the Zulu Kingdom during the Anglo-Zulu War (11th of January - 4th of July 1879). 11 days after the British invasion, the British armies faced a Zuluian army of 20.000 men. The British army though was prepared with the, during those times, most modern weaponry. But despite that the battle ended with a decisive Zulu victory and the British army had suffered one of it's greatest defeats.
