Description More lore for this fictional world! In collaboration (and consultation) with , I decided to take on a project to create conceptual designs for various high status fashions of the socio-political-economic elite of the various factions of post-nuclear North America. Some of these have already been seen in one way or another through both of our comics (Pallas from WW3K: Ghouls, for an example), but nothing downright concrete has been established until now. Consider this canon guidelines for the various factions of the North American continent. So, let's go through the various outfits, shall we?

-----
Prometheus Task Force  - A primarily militant society divided between bases. Its social elite is practically also its military elite, being made up of various kinds of commissioned officers. They all dress in their distinguishable leather jackets, combined with simple headgear like caps and berets complimented by a grey uniform suit. Gloves are regularly worn, as well as cammo pants with various kinds of boots. This fashion style is practically a mix between the fanciness of rank and tactical preference.

Heinrich Empire  - Unlike many other factions, the Heinrich Empire has a socio-political elite in the form of an imperial aristocracy that is not necessarily connected to the military, despite many also having served or do serve as military leaders. This post apocalyptic nobility fancy to dress in coats of various colours which are sometimes decorated with fur. They also sport buttoned vests and waistcoats, and breeches complimented by either boots or knee-socks (socks primarily being a female fashion statement). They also wear cravats fastened by brooches, and often compliment these cravats with collars and ruffs. Men usually have their hair combed and slicked backwards, while women often sport various bob haircuts. Headgear usually include a beret with a visor, but can also include hoods.

Acadian Empire  - Otherwise known as the Skull Empire, this faction is similarily to the Heinrich Empire ruled by an aristocracy, which leans much more into militant tradition derived primarily from a Prussian influence. This includes buttoned uniform jackets and great coats with pauldrons and boots. Headgear varies between pickelhaube helmets and visored caps. Medals are regularly worn, even among the civilian parts of the aristocracy, which are often recognizable by their cranial motifs. Skulls are also featured as decorations on the various headgear. Occasionally the aristocracy sports short capes decorated with fur, much like hussars of the 19th century.

United Leninist Nations  - The ULN's civil branch is ruled by an oligarchy of commissars. While militant in their dress, this showcases the police state-esque nature of the ULN's authoritarian communist rule. Men primarily dress in red uniform buttoned jackets with pauldrons, while women have the much more lenient choice of a grey uniform with a long skirt. Occasionally coats are worn over these jackets. Headgear include both visored caps and ushankas fur caps, often decorated with the typical star motif often seen in socialist militant states. Medals are also here often worn, even within the civilian side of things, to show loyalty to the state.

United Scandinavian Forces  - Being a newcomer on the North American continent, the USF do not distinguish their elite in the same way as the other factions. Being a militant faction through and through with little to no room for fanciful civilian clothing, the military elite of the USF showcase their rank primarily through the quality of the tactical gear they wear. Occasionally they could also wear coats lined with fur, but this yet again serves a more practical usage than anything remotely signifying societal or militant ranking.

Global Military Administration  - The GMA is the last remaining remnant of the old world left. As such, many elements within their high ranking clothing are recognizable with many similar high status military uniforms in our modern 21st century. Being yet another primarily militant faction, the political and military elite of the GMA sport green uniform suits with black long pants and green berets. A fairly simplistic, but still recognizable, look.

Independent Freetowns  - Outside the world of the factions include the socio-political-economic elite of the various freetowns; the neutral parties in between whose primary focus is to profiteer off of the conflicts. The ones in charge of the freetowns, local politicians, rich businessmen and crime lords, have only one concern to keep up their livelihood; money. Due to the freetowns, such as Peccatum or Peterstown, being autonomous entities, a wide variety of fashions are spread among the elite, with primarily coats, scarves, ties and peculiarly enough broad hats and fedoras being recognizable fashion statements. Even shades and glasses occur as fashion statements to show the common plebs who is the true boss around.
